Operation
- Regulates eventual or permanent high and low voltages, cuts off supply when line voltage is too high, too low, or when power suddenly goes off and comes back on.
- It cuts off the output voltage until the line voltage is within the operating range, giving a waiting time (delay) of 5 to 15 seconds (approximately).
- Surge suppression.
- Suppresses electrical discharges in the coaxial installation.
- Multicolor LED indicator:
- LED in Green: indicates that the equipment is on.
- LED in Orange: lights up when the device is regulating high or low voltages.
- LED in Red: indicates that the device is in delay/standby in which there is no voltage output.
Technical specifications
- Power factor: depends on the load.
- Minimum response time: 3 cycles.
- Operating temperature: 0-65°C at full load for 60 minutes.
Environmental specifications
- Operating temperature: 0-50ºC.
- Maximum operating altitude: 2500m above sea level
- Relative humidity: <93% non-condensing.
Insulation
Autotransformer impregnated in high vacuum and baked with class "H" dielectric varnish with a dielectric strength of 4,884V/mm (ASTM-D-115-55) dry and 3,030V/mm wet (salt chamber). Each product is insulation tested to 1,250Vac.
Complies with HiPot test at 1,250Vac.
Note: Typical operating ranges depend on each model.
Voltages: 120V a.c.
Powers: 380W and specials
Frequency: 50/60Hz
Input: NEMA 5-15P plug type
Output: NEMA 5-15R contact
We also manufacture special designs according to your specifications.
WHY USE PROTECTION SYSTEMS?
- More than 65% of equipment failures are caused directly or indirectly by power supply deficiencies.
- They are cheaper than any repair/cost savings. In addition, reducing the frequency and severity of repairs and replacements helps minimize maintenance costs over time.
- Improve customer satisfaction by reducing the failure/maintenance rate caused by non-equipment factors.
- Saves energy as it favors energy efficiency (electrical energy consumption) by providing controlled voltage output.
- Ensures safety: Surge protection mitigates risk and sudden failures, ensuring reliable operation.
- Increases service life: Protecting against surges, prevents certain incidents, thus extending the service life of equipment.
PROTECTS AGAINST:
- Low voltages.
- High voltages.
- Power failure in extreme conditions (very low or very high voltages).
- Power failure with a timeout.
Given the voltage conditions in Latin America, integrating Kleinstad protection equipment is essential to achieve rational energy consumption, regardless of protection issues to the equipment.
- Low power consumption and high efficiency.
- Integral protection against voltage insufficiencies.
