Operation
- Regulates eventual or permanent high and low voltages, cuts off supply when line voltage is too high, too low, or when power suddenly goes off and comes back on.
- It cuts off the output voltage until the line voltage is within the operating range, giving a time delay of 2 to 5 minutes or 5 to 15 seconds (approximately, programmable on request).
- Voltage spike suppression.
- LED indicators:
- Green Led (1): indicates that the regulator is on.
- Yellow LED (2): lights up when the device is regulating high voltages.
- Yellow LED (3): lights up when the device is regulating low voltages.
- Red Led (4): shows that the device is in Delay/Wait which shows that the line voltage is out of the operating range.
Event Logging
While the equipment is connected to the power line, it will have the event log function, which consists of a list that the regulator will keep autonomously to record the total hours of operation, the total hours of high, low, or transparent voltage regulation, the total hours of high and low voltage cut-off, as well as the total number of times that the equipment changed between each event, among other functions.

WHY USE PROTECTION SYSTEMS?
- More than 65% of equipment failures are caused directly or indirectly by power supply deficiencies.
- They are cheaper than any repair/cost savings. In addition, reducing the frequency and severity of repairs and replacements helps minimize maintenance costs over time.
- Improve customer satisfaction by reducing the failure/maintenance rate caused by non-equipment factors.
- Saves energy as it favors energy efficiency (electrical energy consumption) by providing controlled voltage output.
- Ensures safety: Surge protection mitigates risk and sudden failures, ensuring reliable operation.
- Increases service life: Protecting against surges, prevents certain incidents, thus extending the service life of equipment.
PROTECTS AGAINST:
- Low voltages.
- High voltages.
- Power failure in extreme conditions (very low or very high voltages).
- Power failure with a timeout.
Given the voltage conditions in Latin America, integrating Kleinstad protection equipment is essential to achieve rational energy consumption, regardless of protection issues to the equipment.
- Low power consumption and high efficiency.
- Integral protection against voltage insufficiencies.
